I had a mixed experience at the Fairmont Pacific Rim. On one hand, the service was really good and the location was perfect, but I ran into issues with the initial room assignment and some maintenance problems. Despite this, the attentive staff made my stay nice, especially with their excellent dining options.

My room featured automated blinds, music, and a thermostat all controlled from an iPad, which was quite high-tech. However, I faced issues with room assignments initially; it was frustrating to advocate for what I paid for.

The service was mostly attentive, though there were some hiccups that detracted from the experience.
